Marjorie started to work with Pura Vida Missions in 2005 translating for the groups. "I found so much joy doing this; bringing God’s word to the kids and families through VBS, being a tool to connect one culture to another one and having the privilege to meet a lot of amazing people through Pura Vida Missions," she says. In the summer of 2009 she was hired to walk alongside Ashley Fierros, leading the sponsorship program. She says, "From that moment on it has totally been an adventure, full of joy. I have seen God’s power and grace as HE has used us in HIS purpose to be HIS hands and feet for the families here. God is really using us and it is amazing to see how he prepared us in advance for the work here. It is a privilege to serve my people, seeing as I am a Tica! I’m proud to be an employee of Pura Vida Missions, working with them to bring His kingdom all around us and be a reflection of his love every day."
