Our mission trips cost $455 per person for arrivals on Sunday with departures Friday afternoon. We can also arrange side trips for your group to one of the following: volcano, jungle canopy tour, whitewater rafting, beach & surfing, protected rain forest. Side trips from Friday to Sunday range from $200-$250 per person.
Who Can Register?
Churches, Schools, groups register by group with a contact person identified (usually the youth leader, pastor or staff person).
If you are bringing a youth mission team the requirement is that each student needs to have completed the eighth grade.
Please arrange for at least one adult participant (age 21 or older) for every 7 students. If you register both male and female students, please include at least 1 male and 1 female adult participant.
Deposits and Refunds
A $50 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is required with your completed registration (see registration below) form for each participant. Deposits are not refundable at any time, so only register the number of spaces you intend to fill.
All groups are registered on a first-come, first-served basis with spots reserved the day registrations and deposit monies are received.
» Placement on a waiting list for your first date choice.
» Placement in your second or third trip date choice.
Deposits are non-refundable. Deposit cannot be applied to your remaining trip balance; however, the deposit can be applied to a new participant.

Your registration will be confirmed by mail or e-mail. All subsequent information will be sent to the contact person shown on the registration form. This includes a Mission Orientation Packet (group info questionnaire so, we can get to know your group, how to obtain a passport required to travel, mission training materials and outlines, what-to-bring checklists) and information forms for each missionary. The contact person is responsible for distributing, collecting and returning all forms to Pura Vida Missions following the requested timetable.
When Are Balances Due
Please mail your check/money order to meet registration fee deadlines, based on the dates below (late payments will result in forfeiting your reserved spaces):
» Initial deposit ($50 per person) is due upon registration.
No space will be held without the initial registration deposit. Once trip deposits are made, the full amount is due 60-days prior to trip arrival date.
» December 1: 50% of total trip cost & Final Count is due (You are responsible to pay full registration fee for each person registered after this date).
» Final Balance is due 2 month prior to your trip date.
» February 1: 50% of total trip cost & Final Count is due (You are responsible to pay full registration fee for each person registered after this date).
» Final Balance is due 2 months prior to your trip date.
Each registrant must complete the Pura Vida Missions Covenant of Conduct and Medical/Release Agreement and Agreement to Transport Home form. Participants under the age of 18 must have documents notarized and parent/adult approval.
