We are a full time ministry in San Ramon, Alajuela, Costa Rica dedicated to reach out families for Christ through Child Sponsorship. We exist to meet the spiritual and material needs of low income families, who are willing to pursue a relationship with God. We are grateful to have a team working towards the same mission of seeing families and individuals transformed by the Word of God, prayer and the Holy Spirit. We provide opportunities to grow in three main areas of concern, first and foremost: Spiritual, we believe salvation is the most important and urgent need all human beings have. There are discipleship & Bible Study sessions offered on a daily basis to people from all ages. We also offer have biblical counseling for individuals.
Secondly, we challenge those who are in the program to move forward in their Education so they can find more opportunities to improve their living conditions in the future. Our Sponsorship provides everything that is needed to go to school including uniforms, shoes, school supplies and books.
Additionally, we challenge those who are consistently attending discipleship sessions to overcome their Financial struggles by teaching them to manage money in a biblical way. Through an emergency fund we help families with food and bills when needed. Also, we have a family entrepreneurship fund to support those who would like to start a small business.
Yes, it’s something that we absolutely support and request all sponsors to do. Correspondence has become very important because it is a way the Lord will encourage your child through your love and care for them. Sometimes this is something they don’t get at home.
The total cost is $30 monthly or $360 annually.
Yes you can, but just keep in mind that what might not seem to be a lot to you can be very extravagant for some of the kids. If you have any questions about things to send your student, just contact us directly through an email. Also, take into account that the packages take about 2 weeks regular mail to get from USA to Costa Rica.
Please do!! Actually this is something that makes us different from other organizations, we encourage sponsors to come down to meet their sponsored children. Coming down is a very unique way to either start or keep growing your relationship with your child and their families as well. We set up a special dinner with your sponsored family at the Mission.
“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the father and the son and the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all that i commanded you; and lo, i am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
Kids in the program are currently going through The ABC's of God by Jill Nelson. This book teaches the little ones and teenagers as well about the Attributes of God. Each letter in the alphabet stands for a different attribute. The application part is adapted according to their age.

Parents are studying Financial Concepts by Crown. They are learning to manage money in a biblical way and create a budget. Also for those who have already completed the course on finances, We offer a course called Community Imitators of Noemi Moore,PhD. She is the head of Followers of Christ Bible College and Founder of Passion for Purity Ministry in Florida, USA.
We believe the word of God is sufficient to address all problems and situations one may face in life, therefore the Bible is full of answers to human’s deepest questions. We believe all scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness (1 Timothy 3:16) and it should be the authority that rules the way we live. For that reason, we offer biblical counseling sessions, one on one, to help individuals apply the word to their daily struggles and become more like Jesus in the process.
Retreats started as a way to provide more opportunities to families in the program to grow closer in their relationship with the Lord. We host one day and two days retreat and camps for parents, children and youth once a year. We choose from 10 to 30 people to participate in these events based on their attendance to regular discipleship sessions. This is a time of self-examination in light of the scripture, repentance, and decisions making in obedience to God.
Events y Programs
La Tienda (The Store)
The Store happens three times a year. We set up a store in the Mission where children and teens come to trade their points for items such us: toys, clothes, school supplies, shoes, and books. Points are earned by bringing in on time letters and grades to the sponsors, attending discipleship and also according to their academic performance. We receive donations for La Tienda at anytime.
School Supplies Trip
The school year starts
the second week in February so we need to have all school supplies assembled and handed out beforehand.
If you are willing and able to come and help us assemble over 230
packages for all children in the Program we would love to have you.
Contact us for more information on how to get involved.
Looking to remind our families the reason behind the season, we put together a Yearly Christmas Party for all kids in the Sponsorship Program and their parents. Every year, we expect over 350 people coming to celebrate the birth of our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ. We prepare a meal for all of them, games, inflatables, goodies and presents. This event is possible thanks to donations and sponsors.
