Since the establishment of the mission in 2004, he has dedicated the past 20 years of his life to its cause. Originally from Lake Worth, Florida, Albert has resided in Okeechobee, Florida for the past few years. Throughout the year, he travels to and from Costa Rica to lead mission trips and retreats. While he is back home in Florida he continues to work for the mission full time. In his spare time, Albert loves to surf, fish, hunt, play MTG and Heroclix, and throw frisbees with his dogs Osa and Bear. Above all, he cherishes moments spent with his wife, children, and grandson.
From Albert: “I have been married to my amazing, beautiful wife, Cristina, for 35 years. She is my best friend. I have 2 amazing children. I have a son, Albert, who is 25 and married to his lovely wife, Abigail. I have a daughter, Alexis, who is 22. She is married to her hard-working husband Ryan. Alexis and Ryan have a son named Colt (my grandson) and a baby girl on the way.”
“I love Pura Vida Missions because it is truly genuine and sincere in a world filled with charlatan pastors and megalopolis churches that are mile wide and an inch deep. Pura Vida Missions is the real deal, and it is changing lives for Jesus Christ. It is a light in a dark world and frankly the best ministry that I have ever been a part of in my 34 years of full-time ministry. I love Pura Vida Missions because God lead me and my 3 good friends to start this ministry by faith. I am grateful for Tim, Dan and Tony. I love Pura Vida Missions because it is a legacy to my best friend Tim, who passed away in 2021. I’m proud of what we have been able to accomplish for the Kingdom of God on a shoestring budget relying on His provision for all things.”
